Did I say, order online in Cumming? Yes I did--it's a different way top shop for fresh, local meats, cheeses, fruits and veggies in season.
In addition to the convenience of The Cumming Harvest, you owe it to yourself to check out the abundance of farm-fresh produce available moments from your front door at the other regional farmers markets. Here's a list of local farmers markets to help you plan . . .

Blackstock Vineyards
Blackstock Vineyards, the first and largest of the current vineyards in the Dahlonega area, was founded by formally-trained winemaker David Harris, a 20-year pioneer in Georgia wine. After a decade dedicated to evolving a vineyard with wife and partner Trish, the Harris' now offer an estate winery for your pleasure. His wine making honors include the first Gold Medals ever awarded for Georgia-grown White vinifera, Red vinifera, and the first 'Best Southeastern Wine'. Enjoy sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the panorama of lush vineyards, while experiencing some of the best wines in the Southeast.
Frogtown Cellars
Frogtown Cellars is a 57-acre vineyard and winery estate located at the foot of the Appalachian mountains in Dahlonega, Georgia. Frogtown is home to over 20,000 grape vines, a tri-level gravity flow winery and a stunning cypress, timber frame winetasting/event facility. With a total of 15 different grape varieties, both red and white, Frogtown produces exclusively estate-grown wines under the Frogtown and Thirteenth Colony brand names. Frogtown Cellars is the destination winery for premium wines and event functions in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. Come experience the wine and hospitality that is Frogtown.
Montaluce
Blessed with some of the steepest, well-drained hillsides to be found in the U.S., North Georgia’s topography, elevation, and long growing season creates an extraordinarily climate well-suited for premium wine grape cultivation. This climate, coupled with the classic “Terra Rosa” winegrowing soils of the region, serves as the foundation for the new wave of Georgia vintners producing wines of truly exceptional quality. Georgia’s long history of premium wine growing tradition shows that as early as the 1800’s, many vineyards and wineries were thriving. In Fact, Georgia ranked sixth among grape growing states in 1900. The introduction of a statewide prohibition, 11 years prior to national prohibition, wiped out a generation of winemaking traditions brought by many European immigrants to America. Today a farm winery renaissance is taking place across North Georgia. In the last five years vineyard acreage has more than tripled with the addition of at least seven new vineyards and many new wineries on the way. The more than 35 acres of Montaluce’s vineyards will include varieties of premium vinifera grapes including, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sangiovese, and others. Montaluce is dedicated to growing and making premium wines, which will compete, favorably with other premium wines around the world. We invite you to experience the beauty of our vineyards and taste the quality of our wines as Montaluce takes its place as one of the premium wine estates located on the Dahlonega Plateau, one of the truly unique emerging wine-growing regions of the United States.
Three Sisters Vineyards
Laid back and fun, Three Sisters Vineyards is a favorite country "back road" destination of Wine Lovers visiting the North Georgia Mountains and Dahlonega-Lumpkin County, The Heart of Georgia Wine Country. A variety of tastings are offered inside from a large cherry wood tasting bar featuring a distinctive collection of southern folk art and pottery. Outside, a rock wall patio is said by many to be one of the best places to stop and soak in this unique wine region. Relax with friends and a glass of Georgia wine while listening to local acoustic folk and bluegrass presented on our Crush Pad Deck. Three Sisters Vineyards is proud to be Dahlonega's First Family Farm Winery and Lumpkin County's founding wine grape growers. 184 acres of North Georgia Mountain vineyard beauty and history awaits you at the only place TurnerSouth named Best Winery In The South, Three Sisters Vineyards.
Wolf Mountain Vineyards
Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery has received over 60 medals in major U.S. wine competitions in our first five vintages. Our award winning family of Estate wines has established us as a leader in fine wine production on the East Coast. With the introduction of North Georgia's first traditional Methode Champenoise sparkling wines and our combination of traditional European and Southern regional cuisines, Wolf Mountain provides Georgia’s premier wine and food experience.

Wealthy Young Folks Flock to Forsyth County
According to recent research reported by the North Group, "As reported recently by The Nielsen Company, Forsyth County Ga has made the top 10 list of counties where the young and affluent choose to buy homes and live. Of the top 50 counties in the U.S. where the young and wealthy choose to buy homes, 16 counties are in and around Washington DC.
